Lisa and I have experienced various sleeping problems- arthritis in legs and arms plus back problems for over 50 years, so getting a good night's sleep is often difficult. After trying many different beds over the years, we purchased our first Ortho-Gel Sleep System in April, 1999. It gave such relief to the tossing and turning and helped both me and my wife wake rested each morning. We immediately bought a SECOND Ortho-Gel Sleep System for one of our guest rooms. We enjoyed the beds so much that we updated the master bedroom with the purchase of a THIRD Ortho-Gel Sleep System- just so both guest rooms now had Ortho-Gel Sleep Systems.
Our daughter suffers from some of the same back issues. After spending just one night on the Otho-Gel Sleep System in our guest room, she and her husband got into the act and bought an Ortho-Gel System of their own- which they love.
Just this week, we decided to try out the newest models and have now purchased our FOURTH Ortho-Gel Sleep System, the Ortho-Gel Double model. We obviously can't say enough good things about how much we love having Ortho-Gel in our family. So, in case you're counting, we now are the proud owners of FIVE Ortho-Gel Sleep Systems- but we do have more children, so who knows what the final tally will be.

Thanks you for developing a quality product for professional and home use! Recently I was rushed to the hospital and underwent major abdominal surgery. When I woke up in my hospital bed, to my surprise and delight, I discovered that instead of being the standard "difficult to sleep on" hospital bed, my bed had Ortho-Gel! It was wonderful! (What would have made it perfect is the Ortho-Gel pillow! When it was time to leave, my doctor informed me that it would take about 2 weeks and I would be very sore. I was not to do much, if any bending or lifting. He gave me a prescription for some heavy pain medication and sent me on my way. What my doctor didn't realize is that I was returning home to a Ortho-Gel overlay and Gel-Pillow!! What luxury!! Because of the Ortho-Gel products at the hospital and at home, I was back on my feet and completely off pain medication, about 4 days post-op. LONG BEFORE the 2 weeks my doctor had informed me of! I am writing the hospital to thank them for investing in such a wonderful product that helps make recovery more comfortable and faster than it would be otherwise!! I am writing this letter to you with great pleasure! I want all of you to know how much the Ortho-Gel sleep system has helped my severe back and neck problems since 1999. I have had several cervical and lumbar fusions done. I have a firm posture-pedic mattress, and I thought this was sufficient. It was not. My physical Therapist works with many back patients, and she suggested I try the Ortho-Gel bed. I can't sleep with out it!! It takes all the pressure off of my back, and has greatly eliminated the pain I was having at night. I tossed and turned, and was not sleeping well at all. I am sleeping now in a most normal fashio, I also purchased a non-memory foam Gel pillow from the store.

My husband and I splurged on an Ortho-Gel bed two months ago. I have to admit I was a bit skeptical of the claim that the bed would make a difference in my quality of sleep. Well, 60 nights have proven you right. The Ortho-Gel bed DOES make a difference. I used to wake a couple of times each night searching for a more comfortable position. I thought that was going to be the norm and seriously doubted that the Ortho-Gel bed would provide both support and comfort. I now sleep through the night with no struggling to find a comfortable position. My husband has back problems. He, too, has found he sleeps better. He also finds that he doesn't roll over as much during the night and, there for, gets a better night's sleep. We originally purchased a mattress with medium firmness. I want to let you know how satisfied I am with the Ortho-Gel mattress John and I bought at the home show last September. I have had low back pain for several years and have been lucky to get a good night sleep once in a while with the bed we used to have. I would wake up with pressure point pains most of the time. I just had to tell you how wonderful your product is! I've slept on it one night (plus two days solid on it) and I can't ever be without it ever again! It's so comfortable; I no longer have to support my lower back with a small pillow behind it like I've had to do for years now. I was worried about putting the overlay on my low air-loss mattress because it doesn't provide much, if any support. However, the mattress overlay gives me enough firmness to shift my position with out sinking like it used to without anything on top of the air mattress. I am so thankful that your product was available, came so quickly, was affordable, and lives up to the advertisement and description I saw on it. If it stands up to my 24/7 hour use ( I'm bedridden) I'm sure it will work great for anyone.

Our decision to buy an Ortho-Gel bed was the best decision we have ever made. We would do it again in a minute. My husband is a T8 Paraplegic and I suffer from degenerative back disease and hip and leg pain. in putting my husband to bed, it used to take him about 1 hour to relax his back so he could get to sleep. Now with our Ortho-Gel mattress, that time is cut to 6 to 8 minutes. There was a time when my husband could not wait to get out of bed in the morning to be able to change positions. Now, he can sleep much longer and is getting better rest. It was also the answer to my hip and joint pain. I am getting a much more restful and enjoyable sleep. Also, one added feature is that when I get out of bed, I do not disturb my husband. He does not even know I am gone. We are very grateful for this wonderful bed.
